This product is designed to cool/heat cruisers up to 40' and
sailboats up to 45'.
This is our work horse unit! The Mermaid Model M-16 -
16,500 BTU system produces phenominal climate control to
vessels ranging from 38-45 feet. Manufactured on high grade
304-18 gauge stainless steel, this unit was engineered with
your comfort in mind.
This unit is available in Right, Left, or Top air discharge
configurations. The unit produces 16,500 BTU in the cool
mode and 18,000 BTU in the reverse cycle heat mode. We
recommend at least three discharges for this unit. One 8" x 6"
grill should be within 6 feet of the unit and at least two other
discharges need to be at least the 4" round supply vents. As
always, more is better; these are minimums. The electric heat
option is NOT available on this model.
All M16 models include a digital thermostat, an insulation
mounting pad, and an air output collar. Pump not included.

Mermaid's standard pump, the Teel 1P808 pump is designed for single unit
applications @ 400 Gallons per Hour to be used with no more than a five foot vertical
